Dotmocracy Board in Karma Co-op

Dotmocracy Board in Karma Co-op

This Dotmocracy board was installed in Karma Co-op - a small consumer owned grocery store in Toronto. About 50 sheets were dotted on this board over a period of about 6 months in early 2005. While results from the process were informative for both Board and management, some members were distrustful of the new process and after some negative comments were posted, the Board was taken down.

Notice at the top the proposal for "...fewer shopping carts" had a lot of strong approval, but also significant objection. The manager saw this and posted a new proposal for "...smaller shopping carts" which had much less objection.
