Dotmocracy

I have seen a similar process conducted....but it you needed to design your own sheets. These sheets are FANTASTIC!! Could you work on something that would help identify what should be a priority when creating an action plan. This is something that companies need to decide all the time...."What goes first?" and it may not be the most important item!!!

Management decision

Thanks Felicity for your support for the Dotmocracy Sheets. The priority of tasks for an action plan is probably more of a decision for a project manager rather than a large group. A good manager is best positioned to make a sensible action plan with tasks, resources, timelines and milestones based on insight and in to potential synergies, likley delays and bottlenecks, and other factors like budget, management plans, policies, etc. Such knowledge may not be shared among participants, nor does it always need to be. That said, I could imagine a very collobartive work team using the standard dotmocracy sheets to ask the question: "What should be the top priority tasks?" and people posting several different suggested prioritizations for dotting. I hope that helps! -Jason
